Mission Statement
Situated in a suburb of North Liverpool, Fazakerley High School is recognised locally for its diverse curriculum, as a place of high academic achievement and, of course, for its varied programme of extra-curricular activities.
The school is located on a plot of land which has been home to educational establishments since 1937 and boasts some of the best technological, educational and leisure facilities in the country. In September 2003 we moved into a brand new building located behind the original school. We are immensely proud of our building and take pride in keeping it looking its best.
The new building, however, represents a new phase in the school's development. Purpose built premises equipped with the latest technology now enables us to deliver a curriculum suited to the 21st century.
We have equipped every classroom with new furniture and communication/media equipment. All departments have the use of interactive whiteboards.
In addition to the newly built school we have refurbished our Sports Centre so that we can provide even better sporting and leisure facilities for pupils, staff and the community.
We believe strongly that our pupils and staff deserve first class facilities and we are determined to achieve this goal.
These certainly are prosperous days for Fazakerley High School: having just achieved an overall “good” rating from our recent Ofsted inspection, we are also the recent recipient of the coveted Rolls Royce award for sustainable engineering and manufacturing.
A sense of achievement and confidence permeate our school: staff and pupils definitely share the belief that only the sky is the limit! We hope to share our experience and academic success with other schools in our newly appointed role as National Support School.
Fazakerley High School is proud to proclaim its Engineering College Status and all that this brings to the raising of educational standards: this is clearly echoed in our school motto “Achievement for all”.
